Securius Shield is built on and distributed with open source software, and we're grateful to the communities behind it. This page credits the third-party components included in the Securius Shield software we distribute, along with their licenses.

Permissive components

Components under permissive licenses (such as MIT, ISC, BSD, or Apache 2.0), which typically require us to reproduce their copyright notice and license text.

DNS filtering engine

Securius Shield is a dashboard and management layer over an open source DNS filtering engine, which runs as a separate component on your device.
